68 sets of DockGuard DGL900x1500mm V-Fender systems have recently been installed along 800m of container quay at the Port of Ravenna in Italy. The fender systems bring new life to the quay as the existing hollow cylindrical fenders were in much need of replacement. Every aspect of the new V-Fender system was specified to the highest standard and our supply was required to be certified to ISO 9001:2000.

Delivery of the fender systems was critical to meet site requirements and a tight installation schedule as set out by the local contractor. Delivering in part shipments allowed installation to be completed smoothly and on time. After the project was complete, DockGuard were invited to visit the Port Authority where we were thanked for delivering a quality fender system, for the co-ordination and handling of the order and a job well done.
