DockGuard were successful in the European funded tender for the design, supply and installation of heavy duty fender systems at the Cirkewwa to Gozo Ferry Terminal upgrade in Malta. Typically for DockGuard our robust approach to fender design with many clever features backed by thorough calculations and a proven track record satisfied the Maltese Government Department for Transport and secured us the order in a highly competitive market.
Once the contract was awarded we manufactured, shipped, assembled and installed the nine double 1250H Cell Fender systems within 16 weeks. DockGuard undertook the entire installation including drilling the existing dolphins and mounting the fenders.
